About

I’m an electrical engineer by degree, and worked in electronics design and software development (web, mobile, IoT) for several years before getting into cybersecurity.

I now work as a security researcher, specializing in embedded systems security. You can read more about my work and services here, including pentesting, trainings, and consulting.

I’m also a speaker and educator, having given talks across a number of security and engineering topics, as well as teaching workshops, creating hands-on CTF challenges and trainings, working as an adjunct professor, and writing many blog posts.

In the past, I was a board member and volunteer with SoftwareGR, running monthly talks and helping run learn-to-code camps for middle schoolers. I have also volunteered for the Diana Initiative, Car Hacking Village, CyberTruck Challenge and other tech non-profits. Read my previous work blog posts here.

This blog was originally started to chronicle my infosec learning journey, picking up as many small skills and insights as I could, and connecting them together (hence, constellations).

In addition to the technical posts, I’ve also started writing unsolicited advice I wish someone gave me, and also revamped this site with a bit of a ‘Mellon Collie’ inspired theme.

I currently live in Michigan and am incredibly fortune to be living the tech dream (working for myself and owning a farm).
